A lot of people hire doulas because they’re told that with our support, you can achieve a “natural” birth, you won’t need pain medication, and you won’t have a c-section. Overall we have been proven to ensure better outcomes, and…
As doulas, we sometimes take for granted how easy communication can be. The majority of our clients are Canadian, or newcomers who speak a little English. Sometimes there is a language barrier, but we usually all know enough to communicate…

Caitlin was a great support to have by my side during the entire period before and after childbirth. She made me feel comfortable throughout. Anytime I had questions she was available to respond, whether that be via text or phone call. She explained the whole process to both myself and my partner that was relatable and gave me peace of mind. She followed up with me on the regular to see how I was doing and feeling. Her knowledge directly correlated with her experience. It was like having a live google search person by your side. By the time my delivery came, she was by my side right when I needed her. Overall I was impressed and glad I decided to have the support.
I don’t know what I would have done without Sarah by my side. Leading up to the birth, she was so supportive and always there to talk about my concerns whenever I needed her. At my son’s birth, she was my rock. She calmed me down and brought me back to reality. I wouldn’t have had such a positive and amazing experience if it wasn’t for her!
